Due to a poor choice of words, the second paragraph of the story "Acer unveils greenest laptop yet in new Aspires" incorrectly said Greenpeace 'certified' a product, a service the organization does not provide. Greenpeace has checked and acknowledged Acer's use of environmentally friendly materials and highlighted the deed on its Web site. The story has been corrected on the wire and the corrected paragraph follows:
Greenpeace praised the Acer Aspire 3811TZ and Aspire 3811TZG as part of a program to encourage companies to produce more environmentally friendly products. The laptops are both part of Acer's Timeline series of slim, light laptops that use Intel's ULV (ultra low voltage) Core 2 Duo microprocessors for long-lasting batteries.
