caldigit usb c dock
CalDigit

This company’s USB-C Dock ($150 MSRP) supports two displays, has two USB-C ports, three USB Type A ports, and is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 devices. Which means the dock can power all your mobile devices—as well as the Mac it’s attached to.

grovemade wood speakers
Grovemade

Grovemade’s Wood Speakers ($599 MSRP for walnut or $499 MSRP for maple) are the result of a collaboration with industrial designer Joey Roth; Grovemade supplied the wood-accessories expertise while he brought the audiophile ingenuity to the partnership. The set features two 25-watt amplifiers and Fountek FR58EX Drivers—and yet, each speaker is light, weighing in at less than two pounds.

We see lots of bags for carrying laptops, but it’s rare we see such products made for full-sized computers. Enter the Carrying Case Bag for Apple iMac 27-inch ($85.49 MSRP) which is exactly what it sounds like. It has a velvet lining for two interior pockets to hold the computer and accessories like Apple Keyboard, Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse. Remember: Lift with your legs.

A couple of new locks fro this company: Ledge MacBook Lock ($54.95 MSRP) is designed to prevent the theft of 11, 13, and 15-inch laptops; the pictured New MacBook Lock ($69.95 MSRP) is aimed at the new 12-inch MacBooks. The latter makes use of the USB-C port as an anchoring point for the lock, making it harder for a stranger to walk off with your stuff.

nextdeskcrossover
NextDesk

Stand up, stand up for NextDesk CrossOver ($399 MSRP)—a device that sits on top of your desk, then raises or lowers your computer so that you can work on it while standing or sitting, whichever you prefer at a given moment. All it takes is the press of a button.

tablio walnut 4
Tablio

Don’t want to stand up? Try the Mini Desk ($197 MSRP), which is made out of solid walnut, but has a nice feature to keep your computer from getting too hot on your lap: Vents that diffuse the heat and keep everything cool. It also comes with two slide-out panels to hold your mouse, iPhone, and more. Other versions of the product range between $84 and $137, depending on the material used.
