Microsoft’s mouth-watering new Surface Book laptop and Surface Pro 4 tablet merge hardware with software in ways that PC enthusiasts have only dreamed about in the past, but if you want to bask in Microsoft’s vision for Windows 10 yourself, it’s going to cost a pretty penny. Several truckloads of pretty pennies, actually.

Both devices are up for preorder now with a street date of October 26. You’ll be able to pick the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 up at the digital and physical versions of the Microsoft Store, as well as yet-unnamed select retail partners.

Roll-your-own Surface Pro 4 configuration options.

The Surface Pro 4 is the thinnest, lightest, most powerful Surface Pro tablet yet, featuring a wider 12.3-inch display packed with more than 5 million pixels. You can find the full scoop in our Surface Pro 4 coverage. Pricing is similar to what we saw with last year’s Surface Pro 3—expensive, in other words. Here’s what you can get for your money:

  • $900: Intel Core m3 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage
  • $1000: Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage
  • $1300: Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage
  • $1500: Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM, 256GB storage

In a change of pace, Microsoft will also let you configure the Surface Pro 4’s components to fit your needs, with up to a Core i7 processor, 1TB of storage, and 16GB of RAM. Blinging the laptop out doesn’t come cheap, though, with a fully loaded version setting you back a cool $2700.

Whew.

Speaking of not coming cheap, there’s also Microsoft’s slick new 13.5-inch Surface Book laptop. Sporting a detachable, pixel-packed screen, a carefully thought-out design, and some powerful internal components that offer up to twice the performance of Apple’s MacBook Pro (according to Microsoft), it’s no surprise that this Windows 10 flagship device is expensive. Here’s just how expensive:

  • $1500: Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage
  • $1700: Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage
  • $1900: Intel Core i5 processor, discrete Nvidia GeForce GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage
  • $2100: Intel Core i7 processor, discrete Nvidia GeForce GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage
  • $2700: Intel Core i7 processor, discrete Nvidia GeForce GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage
