Is Donald Trump's presidential candidacy great for other GOP contenders (if not the nation)?

hile some observers may wonder whether Donald Trump secretly is a weapon of the left, Jon Stewart believes the billionaire big-mouth's presidential run is a boon for other GOP candidates.

In the video below from Tuesday's Daily Show, Stewart observes:

“He’s great for the Republicans. The more he talks, the more he appears on television, the more he makes the other Republicans’ crazy seem kind of reasonable by comparison.”

It almost does seem like kind of a Trojan Horse/Manchurian Candidate kind of thing with Trump and the GOP, but make no mistake: Trump believes everything he says, and says everything he believes. He's programmed by nothing other than his delusional and narcissistic thoughts. And while his presidential run almost assuredly will turn out to be as phony as most of the U.S. electorate probably expects it to be, Donald Trump the man is exactly what he appears to be: A thin-skinned and belligerent buffoon with money.

He'd class up the joint, alright.
