Pope Francis may be a fine pope when it comes to saying prayers and talking about God and other popey stuff, but he really needs to put a papal sock in it when he starts spouting off about climate change and other topics of which he knows far less than Catholic League President Bill Donohue, according to Catholic League President Bill Donohue.
Raw Story flagged an interview Donohue did on some Newsmax show (video below) in which he says Pope Francis should stick to Bill Donohue-approved topics such as faith and morals. (And by morals, he means the gays.)
Donohue also offers what might be the most incontestable truth ever about environmental issues!
"No one has ever said that air pollution is intrinsically evil. So, people need to get up to speed on this.”
Exactly! If air pollution really is intrinsically evil, wouldn't it have horns and a pitchfork?
Also, when Donohue says "people need to get up to speed on this," he really means you, Pope Greenpeace. So knock it off and go perform an exorcism or something.
