We all have our special "bucket list" items, whether it's skydiving, doing stand-up comedy, or becoming a social media meme.
But 91-year-old Walter Thomas of Woodstock, Illinois, had something a bit more destructive in mind for the bucket list item he checked off on May 31.
Thomas always wanted to drive a car through a garage door just to see what happens. With some help from his grandkids, and with his wife, family and friends looking on, he was able to realize his bucket dream.
And was his neighbor mad! Just kidding, he didn't use the neighbor's garage.
Just the guy's car.
Kidding again! Actually, Thomas used an old beater destined for the scrap heap, while the garage was owned by friends who intended to raze it and build a new one. He also wore a helmet, just in case things went awry.
