Remember that brave and great patriot in Arizona who organized a "Draw Mohammed" contest outside a Phoenix mosque last Friday?

While he undoubtedly was disappointed that he and his fellow travelers didn't get to shoot any Muslims he was trying to provoke -- after inviting "contestants" to bring guns to the even in order to defend their 1st Amendment rights -- former Marine and current Muslim hater Jon Ritzheimer is moving to the next phase of his grift: Asking other idiots to donate money so he can protect his family from alleged threats he has received for engaging in public hate-mongering.

And how much does a great patriot need to protect himself and his family? Just enough to buy a gun, a Bible, some chewing tobacco, a frame for his copy of the Constitution signed by Jesus, and maybe a case of beer for other "good guys with guns" who want to step up and help out...

From Talking Points Memo:

KPNX television reporter Brahm Resnik tweeted on Sunday that Ritzheimer had set up a GoFundMe page to raise $10 million to “protect his family or run against” Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).

Alas, Ritzheimer's GoFundMe page has been removed for unspecified reasons. Why does GoFundMe hate America?

It matters not, because this patriot is ready to Stand. His. Ground. Oh, wait...

Ritzheimer told television station KSAZ on Friday that he was going into hiding after the rally, which drew hundreds of people, including many who opposed him.

Later, Ritzheimer said on his Facebook page that he instead will "hunker down" in his "fighting hole" and "stick it out."

You know what Ritzheimer's hidey fighting hole smells like? Freedom!
