Michele Bachmann oddly ungrateful toward Obama for triggering coming Rapture

Minnesota Republican Michele Bachmann may no longer be a member of the House, but she's still weighing in on the relevant issues of the day.

Like how President Obama is triggering End Times.

Bachmann appeared recently on a talk show with Christian broadcaster and "End Times" host Jan Markell, who herself recently displayed some strong international political chops when she said this about the recent nuclear agreement with Iran:

The Bible's references to end-time "strong delusion" are appropriate here. In fact, there is no other explanation. Yes, the Antichrist will specialize in that but before that, we're seeing a run-up with like-minded fools engaging in it.

Does this woman write speeches for Sarah Palin or what?

Anyway, Bachmann also finds the recent Iran accord to be an act of evil by Obama, whose plans to assist that Middle East nation in destroying the U.S. should be clear to us all by now.

Here are some direct quotes from Bachmann's interview with Markell. Remember, this is a person who once was in Congress and ran for president in 2012.

“Barack Obama is intent, it is his No. 1 goal, to ensure that Iran has a nuclear weapon.”

It truly is that diabolical man's No. 1 goal, followed closely by the confiscation of guns from 2nd Amendment-loving Americans, an act which would prevent any patriots from thwarting Iran's nuclear missiles with their hunting rifles. Maybe that anti-Christ talk wasn't a joke!

"If you look at the president's rhetoric, if you look at his actions, everything he has done has been to cut the legs out from Israel and to lift up the agenda of radical Islam."

Everything. It's even worse, though: Did you know that, once a Muslim caliphate is installed in the U.S., Obama plans to create a federal Department of Beheadings? Can you imagine something so callous and misguided? Seriously, the last thing we need in this country is more government bureaucracy.

This might be our favorite passage.

"For our sake, for the sake of our families, for our nation, for the next generations, we need to cry out to a holy God. This is coming faster than anyone can see. I know I worked very hard on the intelligence committee to keep up with what was happening in the world. It got to such crescendo, that I could hardly keep up with it any more. The events have picked up such a pace and are going to continue. It's just like the Bible forewarned."

We love how "we need to cry out to a holy God" is followed closely by "I worked very hard on the intelligence committee."

And yet Michele can't help but be conflicted about putting "nuclear weapons into the hands of madmen who are Islamic radicals who believe it is their religious duty to bomb Israel and to bomb the United States."

"Believers need to get our lives right with God, and then we intercede and intercede. And then, not despair, but rejoice that we get to be living in the most exciting time in history. ... It is the return of a soon and coming King. Jesus Christ is coming back! In our lifetimes potentially we could see Jesus Christ returning to Earth. ... These are wonderful times."

Go ahead, Michele, say it: "Thank you, President Obama."
