Fantasy football team owners from around the world have taken to social media to collectively and hilariously conclude that it is time to drop former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez from their rosters following his conviction for first-degree murder.
The many presumed though unverified fantasy owners flooded Twitter with virtually identical and obvious tweets stating their regret over having to now release the convicted murderer from their pretend rosters, even though it has been clear for some time that Hernandez will never again don an NFL uniform.
We won't even attach names to these, but here's a link to a Twitter search for "Hernandez fantasy" in case the items below aren't generating enough hilarity:
"Note to self. Don't draft Aaron Hernandez in fantasy this Fall."
This story, "Millions of NFL fantasy team 'owners' greet Aaron Hernandez verdict with same hilarious roster joke" was originally published by Fritterati.
